Every year, Earthwatch sends teachers and educators across the globe to join scientists on

expeditions. The aim is for these teachers to return to their classrooms and spread their 

newfound knowledge, and passion for science and field work to their students. Often the 

returning teachers are so intoxicated by their Earthwatch experience that they transform 

their entire school. In this filmfor Earthwatch, we meet 3 teachers whose lives and teaching have been drastically changed by their expeditions in the field. We shot the film in one 

day and used only photographs from the field as a backdrop.
