Amy Lawday Films (ALF) is an award-winning film and digital production company based in New York. Female/LGBTQ owned and operated, we are story tellers at heart. We are anchored in Brooklyn, but we tell stories from everywhere. Powerful stories. We specializes in producing short-form documentary content, campaign content, commercials and PSAs. We glide across all digital platforms and are not afraid of the constantly changing landscapes. Think of the most pressing problems of our time - and there is a strong likelihood that we have produced content for the organizations seeking to solve those problems.
We work with non-profit organizations, corporate brands, governments, politicians and educational outlets alike. We have produced programming for leading public health foundations, environmental protection agencies, science & medical institutions, architecture firms, philanthropic foundations and social justice advocacy groups. In a world where story-telling is paramount, we help our partners dig into their DNA in order to find their own stories. Then our job is to figure out the strongest and most creative way to tell those stories.
While our heart is in social justice, our eye is firmly set on cinematic composition. Amy Lawday Films hires leading cinematographers, composers and editors. We make a point of crafting teams that are inclusive and diverse. The result is a dynamic and professional atmosphere when the cameras are rolling, thought-provoking films with measurable impact, and happy clients who keep coming back to us..
